David Fulton’s life has been shaped by adventure, service, and a deep commitment to helping others. Growing up as the son of a bush pilot, he experienced a unique and exciting childhood in Africa and Haiti. Upon returning to the United States, David was drawn to a career that combined adventure and service, leading him to earn an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point.

David’s military career as an Armor Officer in the United States Army was marked by success and fulfillment. He commanded soldiers at various levels, from platoon to battalion, and served four combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout his military service, he gained valuable insights by working at the Department of State in Washington D.C. and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) in Colorado Springs, providing him with a broad and unique understanding of the Department of Defense and Federal Service.

In 2014, David’s youngest son was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a severe and debilitating form of epilepsy. Caring for a medically fragile child exposed him to the complexities of coordinating insurance, government benefits, and the financial pressures faced by parents of children with disabilities. Motivated by his personal experience, David developed a passion for solving these challenges and pursued a career in financial planning to help others navigate similar situations.

David’s professional background also includes serving as a Chief Financial Officer for a technology startup, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in small businesses.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University. David has achieved the prestigious Chartered Financial Consultant® designation from the American College of Financial Services and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. As a proud veteran and parent of a child with special needs, he brings a unique perspective to his financial planning practice.

David resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife Whitney and their three sons, Avery, Bennett, and Hugh. His diverse experiences, combined with his commitment to service and helping others, make him a trusted and empathetic advisor for clients seeking financial guidance and support.
